Healing with Positive Energy ~ Part II

Each session I am even more amazed at the progress of healing.  My client is an inspiration and has reinforced that I made the right decision to become a Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner.

Our second session was remarkable!  Just before she arrived, my colleague and I commented how good it would be to see her walk through the door without her cane.  To our amazement…she did just that!  She also got clearance to return to work which was her goal in addition to pain relief.

The sessions that have followed have been so rewarding.  Our second session was intense and there was a lot of energy movement.  At the close of the session I was very concerned because she had the physical look and feeling of being heavily medicated.  I advised her to take it slow and go home and rest while keeping focused on the white energy flowing through her.  Feedback after the second session: “…Last night ended up being difficult, pain-wise…I have been imagining white energy coming through me as you suggested, and when I did it this morning, I got out of bed in a great place mentally…I never get out of bed in a good mood; I’m a night owl and have insomnia so I’m always cursing at the alarm, but not today.”

Our fourth session was Reiki only but I added a meditation from Bob Proctor called Abundance Meditation to encourage healing energy.  I was amazed when she fell sound asleep halfway through our session and the energy that usually surged on her right side was slowly calming.  I can’t describe how beautiful it was to see this ray of sunshine rest peacefully!    This is the feedback I received about an hour after she left my office:  “Having tea and soup and feeling wonderful and *SOOO* relaxed!  I’m sorry I think I fell asleep!! I rarely can sleep without medication to dull the pain enough.  Thank you!!!!!!!”

I have always believed in the power of positive energy.  To be able to witness positive energy’s healing power is undescribable.  There are just no words to describe how good I feel seeing someone benefit so much from my touch.

The Universe is so powerful!

Creating Your Dream Life

Over the past couple of years I have been practicing The Secret and using the law of attraction, combined with hard work and persistence, to achieve my dreams.  I truly believe that we have the ability to create the life we want.

I was recently introduced to the concept of Unlimited Abundance and the method of clearing Abundance Blocks that hold us back from allowing ourselves to live the life we want and deserve.  Phrases like “Money doesn’t grow on trees”, “You have to have money to make money”, and “Money is the root of al evil” are things we grow up hearing from friends and family, media, and other sources.  We buy into these ideas and make them our own which creates blocks in achieving our dreams.

I often participate in free webinars that I know are really meant to lure us into buying a product or service.  However, each time I learn something that is valuable to me which makes investing 60-90 minutes worth it.  I rarely buy the product or service but the Unlimited Abundance program sounded like it was worth investing in.  So far it has been a great investment in ME!  I am working through the 24 Abundance Blocks slowly – still on the first block “Clearing Resistance”.  I am seeing a change in my thought process and seeing my life change each day as a result.  Some of the ingrained concepts that I have are beginning fall away and I actually feel lighter and have renewed my belief that I can do whatever I set my mind to doing.

I also added a Bob Proctor meditation to my daily practice for several days now and am beginning to change my thoughts about success, money, and relationships.  The meditation is Abundance Meditation and is about 22 minutes long but worth giving a chance.  Bob Proctor says “If you can hold it in your head you can hold it in your hand”.  I am beginning to see this as a truth and look forward to what I can do with this concept.

Some of the things I am working on are:

~Debt free by the end of 2015

~A successful and sustaining business

~Become a Life Coach

~Be truly happy

What would you like to achieve in the months ahead?  How do you plan to make your DREAMS your REALITY?  Write it down in the comments below and let’s help each other to make it happen!

Healing with Positive Energy ~ Part I

Every now and then I am blessed with a client that challenges my faith in the Universe and in myself.  Each time this happens it makes my faith stronger and I see more clearly the value of following my heart and taking healthy risks.

It is with my client’s permission that I share her story.  This experience has been one of the most rewarding so far on this journey of healing.  It has made me realize that the Universe is here for me, guiding me every step of the way, and all I have to do is BELIEVE!

I met this client through a colleague who felt that I had the tools to help her through pain associated with back surgery.  As I began to explain Reiki and Gemstone Therapy, I began to see the brightness of Jessica’s heart shining through her eyes.  She had been through so much and her determination to get back to work and live her life was stronger than ever, and getting stronger by the minute as we talked.

During our first session we focused on hip pain that was making everything difficult.  Our goal was to reduce the pain by using the Life-force energy of Quartz and the healing power of Lavendar Quartz to balance the body’s energy through the 7 Chakras while pulling the pain from the hip.  We enhanced the session with Reiki to get maximum energy flow for the first session.  The results were amazing!!  Text the next day reads: “…The pain isn’t gone but was more tolerable last night, even as I played with my little nieces for several hours (ages 1, 3, and 5) and I made it all the way till I got home at 12:30am without any meds!! In general, I felt I had an internal glow of sorts, and I had a smile on my face for hours and hours after I left.  I kept the quartz in my pocket, by my worse hip….”

The key to all of this is that she “does her homework” every day.  I gave her a quartz sphere to keep with her to allow life-force energy to continue to flow after our session.  She has also incorporated manifestation techniques and visualization tools to keep the energy positive and flowing freely.  Each day she takes the time to visualize the positive energy of the universe flowing through her from the crown of her head to the bottom of her feet.

I look forward to continuing this story and sharing the amazing results that come out of our sessions.  I hope that you find this information useful and interesting.  If you are living in pain there are alternatives to medication.

Have a beautiful day and be well!

A Spiritual Birthday Gift

A Spiritual Birthday Gift

Butterflies have always been magical to me because they are so free and beautiful. In 2012 my Mom told me: “Promise me something, that you will go to Costa Rica next year for me. I will not be here but I will send all the butterflies and tell them to visit my beautiful girl so that you know I am with you.” She kept that promise and on my last day of vacation I was greeted by an amazing, deep yellow butterfly. I knew immediately that it was her and she brought such a variety of friends with her. It is a memory I cherish every day that allowed me to truly grieve for her and let go.

This November visit was extra special and reinforced my Mom’s presence is with me all the time. My birthday is in November and my Mom always made it so special. I miss getting a card from her the week before my birthday and her insisting that we have cake and ice cream to celebrate. Two things that I took for granted when she was here and now I would give anything to have. But today, as I sit eating breakfast in Costa Rica, there are many butterflies fluttering about. I am taken by their grace and beauty as my heart fills with love from my Mom. I look down to see a beautiful orange butterfly struggling to fly and realize that it has a broken wing. I reach down to pick her up so she is out of foot traffic and she eagerly climbs onto my hand. What an amazing feeling to be able to hold one of these magical beings! She spent an hour with me while I ate my breakfast and checked my messages – a birthday gift from my Mom. As I was leaving The Bakery I tried to place her safely in the flowers but she clung to my finger. Finally she moved to the flower and I said goodbye, my heart filled with love and joy from the experience.

What an amazing experience to feel the love of a tiny little being. My day was extra beautiful from that moment on and I am so grateful to now have that memory. I am also grateful to have that feeling of my Mom joining me for a part of my day in a way that I could touch and feel.

When we truly believe in the power of positive, beautiful things happen. Always believe in the greater good of the world and you will experience pure, honest love in places you would never expect.

Thank you Mom for being present in spirit and in a form that I could touch. It means more than anyone could ever know.

Have a Beautiful Day!! ~Pamela

A Lesson in Patience

A Lesson in Patience

Patience is a continual teacher and we are her students. We learn patience for many things in our lives and then we are given another lesson to learn. When we think we have passed all the tests that patience has to give us there is yet another chapter added to the lesson book.

A recent experience has shown me that patience is similar to rainstorms in the Summer. One day we may be overflowing with it and the next it is no where to be found. I am grateful for the experiences that allow me to continue to learn and grow. Seeing in others the very things that we don’t like in ourselves is a powerful thing. Tolerance of others in these situations is life changing.

What have I learned in the past week? Oh so much!! I learned that I am so grateful for how my parents raised me. They gave me the space I have always needed to learn and grow, even when some of those lessons were difficult and would hurt me. I learned to value my alone time as it brings me balance and great joy. My alone time is invaluable because it allows me to sit with myself and grow or let go of what is necessary. I learned that sometimes you just have to open your mouth and speak your mind or else others will walk all over you. This is not always easy, but with practice it allows peace within the mind. The most important thing I have learned is to appreciate each quiet moment so that I have a place to go when surrounded by chaos. I am a bright light surrounded by light rather than darkness and these quiet moments allow me to keep the dark and negative out of my space.

Practice patience each day and you will find the calm place within when everything around you is not.

BE POSITIVE and Have a Beautiful Day!!  ~Pamela

The Value of an Act of Kindness

How many times have we walked away from the person on the street asking for change?  How often do we stop to help our neighbors?

I was recently approached by an older man and woman on the street who were asking for bus fare.  The man had just been discharged from the hospital and without money they had to walk home. My initial reaction was “I’m sorry but I have no cash”.  I saw the hurt in the woman’s eyes and knew that I had change in my bag.  After giving them the whole $3 in change that I had in my bag I looked at the woman’s face and saw such gratitude in her eyes.

Later in the week a neighbor stopped me to ask me to notarize some paperwork for her.  I didn’t realize how sick she had been recently and she told me that she had been in the ER the night before.  What she said next not only shocked me but validated my earlier decision to give the couple change.  She had been treated at the ER for extreme pain and was given morphine to make her comfortable while they ran tests and discharged at 1am on Sunday morning…she had no ride home, no money and was told there was nothing the hospital could do for her.  She walked home that night alone, sick, and scared.  Later in the day she stopped and told me her cat had passed away, the second cat to pass in a week.  She was heartbroken, defeated, and so down that it broke my heart.  She went on to explain that she had been on disability and was waiting for social services to help her out but the process is very slow.  This is a woman who went to work every day, tried to help others when she could, and was always kind to people she met.  We sat and talked for a while until she felt a little better about her situation.

Today I received a message from her:  “I just want to try to express my deep gratitude for the love, support, & generosity you have shown me during such a hard and sorrowful time.  The universe is mysterious and I don’t understand it most of the time but I do believe that you were an angel put in my path at just the time I needed you most.  I hope I can do the same for you someday.”

These experiences have made me take a closer look at myself and my initial reaction to pass judgement.  I realized that it’s not my place to judge another human being, especially when they are less fortunate than others.  We don’t know what others are going through until we take the time to walk in their shoes.

Kindness is the greatest gift we have to give…and it’s FREE!  Share some kindness today and make a difference in the life of another human being.

Have a beautiful day! ~ Pamela

Daily Gratitude

As I sit in my backyard enjoying the breeze today, I am thinking about all the things in my life that I am grateful for.

Today I am grateful to have a backyard.  This space that I have created where all things are good and calm.  A space where I can sit quietly and reflect, work stress free, and entertain friends and family.

I am grateful to have good friends and family.  Yesterday was my Annual Gathering to celebrate the Fourth of July.  It is a small gathering but a celebration just the same. Spending time with those who are important in my life and seeing them enjoy eachothers company is such a rewarding experience.  Being able to spend time with my Dad always makes this gathering special and this year it was extra special to me to have this time.  This year I had a surprise visit from Miss Delores, my dearest friends Mom.  It was such a joy to sit and spend time with this beautiful lady.

I am grateful for my good health which allows me to enjoy all the good things this life has to offer.  Having the ability to sit here and write, to work in the garden, to be social and active are things that make my world so beautiful and inspire me to share these thoughts with you.  I have faith, that by sharing, it will inspire someone to take a look at all the beauty there is in thier life and be grateful to have it.

Each day we are given the opportunity to make our life a happy one if we choose to do so.  Take that opportunity and make your life the beautiful place you want it to be.  Have faith in yourself and those you surround yourself with.  Most important:  ALWAYS Believe in the Power of Positive!

Have a beautiful day ~Pamela

Progress: A New Approach to Wellness

As a follow up to my blog “A New Approach to Wellness” I want to share my progress with you so far.  I will update every few days for two reasons:

1.  If I write AND publish my progress then I am holding myself accountable.

2.  By sharing my progress I may inspire one person to take the journey too.

Day One was PRIORITIES and it allowed me to identify the things in my life that are most important to me.  This exercise not only allowed me to identify the important people, places and things in my life, but also made me realize how very grateful I am for all of the amazing gifts I have in my life.  This exercise resulted in developing a TOP PRIORITY CLARITY STATEMENT which took time and thought to develop.  Here it is:

“My number one priority is my own health and wellness; I will practice what I teach others and set a good example of healthy living for those around me, especially my niece and nephew; I will limit activities which put my health at risk; I will weigh all decisions against what would be helpful, harmful or indifferent to my overall health and wellness.”

This statement will be printed out and placed on my refridgerator, on my vision board, near the front door, in my wallet, and in my car so that I can memorize it and see it throughout the day.

Day Two was GOAL SETTING and this was a little more difficult.  The idea is to set SMART goals that take you out of your comfort zone and can be measured.  After coming up with 10 goals (and realizing that this is done every 7 days – WOW) I felt like I had really dug deep and accomplished a solid list.

Day Three was setting the PUSH goal.  This was a little more challenging because it made me take a good look at all the goals I had written down and choose the one that would catapult enough change to make the others fall into place.  I managed to decide on one goal which was not easy!

This is as far as I have gotten, but I am very grateful to Chalene Johnson for putting this new perspective on getting fit.  It really is so much more than saying “Today I’m going to start….or in my case tomorrow I will start.”

If anyone has decided to get the book and start the 30 day journey please share you opinion, progress, and anything else.  Sometimes it’s nice to know you are not doing this alone.  If there is enough response then I will create a FB group to share our progress on.

Happy July 4th Weekend!

Patience, Passion, Turn it Over

Do you sometimes find that believing in yourself isn’t as easy as it sounds? The past couple of weeks have challenged my belief in myself and the power of positive.  The other day I had an “ah-ha” moment and these are the things that made me realize that I can achieve anything I set my positive mind to.

PATIENCE is the key to everything.  All great things take time to happen.  It’s very easy to loose faith when we are trying so hard to reach a goal that doesn’t  seem to be happening fast enough.  When that uneasy feeling comes along as a result of things not happening quickly, take a deep breath (or two or three) and refocus on the outcome you wish to see.

PASSION is the driving force behind your success.  Let your passion fuel your day and power your belief in yourself and your dreams.

TURN IT OVER to the Universe (or whatever your belief) and let things go.  Stop worrying about how long it may be taking to see an outcome and start living as if you have already achieved your goal.

My passions are Massage Therapy and helping others to believe in themselves.  Starting out is never an easy thing to do and it makes you question yourself sometimes.  A friend invited me to join her for a guided meditation recently and the invitation couldn’t have come at a better time.  I made the time to go and this week the ah-ha moment happened.  I realized that I was allowing an old recording to sabotage my success.  Through this meditation I was able to re-center and ground myself so that I could let go of the old “stuff” that plays in my head sometimes.  The result was amazing!!!  I woke up this morning to a phone call from a client looking to book an appointment.  About 20 minutes later I received another call for an appointment.  My client today had such good things to say about her last session and was open to trying Gemstone Therapy today.  I could see through her body language that she truly believes in her choice to make Massage Therapy part of her wellness plan. This reinforced my passions, belief in myself, and validation of choices I have made.

Patience, Passion, and Turning it Over works every time. Change the frequency of the recording to a positive and bring the change you need to live your dreams.

Have a beautiful weekend!  ~Pamela

The Courage to Leap

.

Have you ever felt like your feet were hanging off the edge of a cliff? You can feel the desire…no the need…to take that leap but “fear of the unknown” is holding you in place.  Life begins to feel chaotic and you can feel things falling apart.  The feeling of being pulled in too many directions and knowing that all things are being compromised as a result is an overwhelming feeling.

This has been my world for the past few weeks. Holding onto fear and obligation to others rather than letting go and having faith that everything will be alright has been overwhelming lately. I think to myself…you have been here before and look at the amazing journey you have been on as a result of taking that leap 4 years ago.

How do we find the courage to “make the jump”?  I am finding, once again, that it takes digging deep and asking myself “What is going to make YOU happy”.  Being an extreme people pleaser is not always easy to overcome.  We loose faith sometimes and the key is to find it again and love yourself enough to make the hard choices that allow you move forward, even if it means disappointing others in the process.  The Universe will provide if you allow it and ask for it.

I know that the leap is going to happen and the end result with be AMAZING!  What is holding you back from following your dreams, your passion, your true path?  In the week ahead prepare to take an amazing leap of faith and know that you will not be alone…I will be there too, making that jump with my eyes wide open, we will land on our feet and begin yet another amazing journey in this beautiful life that we have.

Have a beautiful day!  ~Pamela
